The Switched Socket with Dual USB ports (A + C) is Great for Offices, Home Offices, Café, Bars, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Hospitality areas anywhere where someone might need a FAST CHARGE i.e. grab a coffee 30 mins later you have 50% charge.
Features
Knightsbridge FAST CHARGE USB sockets are capable of delivering 0-50% charge in under 30mins with compatible phones.
Only phones that support QC2.0/QC3.0 or USB-PD can achieve FAST CHARGE. USB-PD can only be achieved over the Type-C port
- The type-A port is compatible with all USB chargeable devices that use the traditional Type-A connector, including Apple devices i.e. iPhone 7 or below. To FAST CHARGE on this port, the handset must be QC2.0/QC3.0 compatible
- Type-C port is compatible with all USB chargeable devices that use the new Type-C connector. To FAST CHARGE on this port the handset must QC2.0/QC3.0 or USB-PD compatible i.e. iPhone 8 or above
- When either port has activated FAST CHARGE the other port will revert to standard charging rates
FAST CHARGE is achieved by switching voltage between 5V-12V, it is the handset that decided how much power it will draw

USB-A port
- 5V DC 2A (up to 10W) with standard devices (any device that uses a Type-A connector)
- 9V DC 2A (up to 18W) with QC2.0/QC3.0 compatible devices
- 12V DC 1.5A (up to 18W) with QC2.0/QC3.0 compatible devices
USB-C port
- 5V DC 3A (up to 15W) with standard devices (any device that uses a Type-C connector)
- 9V DC 2A (up to 18W) with QC and USB-PD compatible devices
- 12V DC 1.5A (up to 18W) with QC and USB-PD compatible devices
NB: FAST CHARGE only activates on phones when the charge is less than 70-80%
